Learn how intentional email marketing transforms connection, trust, and business growth

I often talk about being intentional with your email marketing or creating an intentional welcome email series—heck, I have a workshop called Welcome With Intention! But what does intentional email marketing mean? Is it just another blanket statement that sounds nice?
No, believe it or not, there is intention behind it. 😜
Defining Intention
Intention is a deliberate purpose or aim—a clear reason behind an action or choice. It’s the why that gives direction and meaning to what you do. To act with intention is to act on purpose, rather than out of habit or reaction.
When we live and act with intention, we have a much greater impact.
Start with Strategy — Then Layer on Intention
From an email marketing standpoint, at a base level, emailing with intention is having a strategy.
You can create an email strategy by referencing…
Your business goals and how your emails latter up to and support your goals
Purchase behaviors
Email engagement
Top engaged content across all marketing channels
Audience segmentation patterns
Website behavior patterns
And more.
When you have an email strategy in place, you’re more likely to experience better email engagement, passive income, repeat customers, and positive word of mouth about your brand.
Without an email strategy in place, you’re more likely to experience the opposite, including having a challenge getting your email to land in the inbox, a lack of customer trust in your brand, higher unsubscribe rates, and wasted time with little direction.
